Whitney Knowlton, a nationally certified physician assistant, joined the UCBC Medical Oncology team in April 2017. In the spring of 2020, she became the UCBC Acute Care Clinic provider. Before joining UCBC, she practiced Family Medicine from 2012 – 2016. Whitney holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. Medicine is Whitney’s second career — she spent eight years in the financial industry and earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2001.
