Denise Johnson Allen is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She earned her master’s and family nurse practitioner degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. Her professional background includes work in medical oncology and serving as the Director of Clinical Services for an interventional pain management clinic, bringing knowledge from both of those specialties to the LiveWell department here at UCBC. A native of Athens, Denise enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband and son in her free time.
