Charissa Bright is a clinical social worker with University Cancer and Blood Center. She received her both her undergraduate degree and master’s degrees in Social Work at The University of Georgia.Charissa has worked with older adults, families, and children in a variety of settings.She worked in the field of adoption where she counseled birthparents and adoptive parents, she managed a faith-based children’s camp, she has worked in long-term care, and most recently she worked in hospice care.She is a member of the Association of Oncology Social Work. She enjoys volunteering with the children’s ministry at her church, as well as serving on the student advisory committee at her son’s school.
