Carrie Fleming, certified nurse practitioner, joined UCBC in 2025. She graduated with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. She received her certification as a Nurse Practitioner in 2003 from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She completed additional postgraduate training at Emory University in wound and ostomy care in 2019. She has been practicing as a hospitalist and emergency room nurse practitioner for over 20 years in Newton and Walton County. She is also a volunteer provider at Willing Helpers Medical Clinic in Covington. She and her husband live in Monroe with their daughter. In her off time, Carrie enjoys traveling with her family and friends, hiking, daily walks with her dog, and reading.
