Charles Bodine, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine and recently completed fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology. A native of Gainesville, GA, he joins UCBC in 2021 following completion of his oncology & hematology training at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB). Dr. Bodine is a  magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in both biology and psychology and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA.

Dr. Bodine Served as Chief Resident after completing Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY and later completed his Oncology/Hematology Fellowship at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) where he served as Chief Fellow in final year of fellowship at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB)

His professional active memberships include American Society of Clinical Oncology & American Society of Hematology. In his free time, Dr. Bodine enjoys tennis, golf, fishing, and grilling. He married his wife Alyssa Bodine in 2013. They welcomed their first daughter Virginia in May of 2019, and more recently their second daughter Lilly in April 2021.
