Neal Marrano, MD
Neal N Marrano, MD is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. He joined UCBC in 1996 following a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Emory University. During this fellowship, he received an American Cancer Society clinical oncology fellowship and a secondary appointment as associate in medicine in the Emory University School of Medicine. A magna cum laude graduate of Brown University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Marrano earned his MD degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 1988 and currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Georgia Regents University. He did his internal medicine training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He has published on Gallbladder cancer in The American Journal of the Medical Sciences. His earlier research on cutaneous leishmaniasis in rural Costa Rica was published in the Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
